Day 1 | Spain – Bangkok
Departure on a scheduled flight to Bangkok. Overnight flight.
Day 2 | Bangkok
Arrival at Bangkok International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in (
:00; check-in from 2:00 p.m.). Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3 | Bangkok
Breakfast.
Departure from the hotel, touring Bangkok’s main streets and its old town:
We’ll start with a visit to the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), which houses
a 5.5-ton gold Buddha. We’ll continue with a visit to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat
Po), home to the largest reclining Buddha statue in Thailand.
We will conclude with a visit to the stunning Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit)
, built from Carrara marble. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4 | Bangkok

Day 5 | Bangkok - Train Market - Floating Market
River Kwai - Ayutthaya
Breakfast and lunch.
Departure by road. Stop en route to see the famous Train Market, located next to the train tracks
, where we’ll see how the market is dismantled in a matter of seconds to make way
for the train, and then quickly reassembled shortly afterward. We’ll continue on to the floating market. Upon arrival at
, we’ll take a boat tour through its canals, where we can enjoy a wonderful
typical Thai landscape. We’ll continue to Kanchanaburi, where we’ll revisit the history of the
bridge over the River Kwai built by Allied prisoners during World War II.
Lunch. We will continue to Ayutthaya, the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site
. Visit to the temple, Wat Chai Wattanaram. Arrival
at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6 | Ayutthaya - Angthong - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai
Breakfast and lunch.
Departure from Ayutthaya, the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam. We’ll travel back in time as we visit
the area’s most important temples, such as Wat Yai Chaimongkol. Our next stop
will be Angthong, home to Thailand’s tallest Buddha image (93 m high).
Lunch. We will continue on to Phitsanulok and visit Wat Mahathat, where
the Buddha image considered the most beautiful in Thailand is located. Our final destination
will be Sukhothai. Overnight stay.
Day 7 | Sukhothai - Lampang - Chiang Rai
Breakfast and lunch.
Departure to visit the archaeological ruins of the first capital of the Kingdom of Siam. The Sukhothai Kingdom
is considered the golden age of Thai civilization, and the religious art and
architecture of the period are regarded as the most classic examples of Thai styles.
’s original capital was surrounded by three concentric fortifications and two moats, connected by four
gates. Visit the historical park of this ancient capital and its most important temples.
Transfer in a Sukhothai-style tuk-tuk, an iconic vehicle of the region with a unique design,
to take us to the Amulet School. Upon arrival, we will see a typical country house
, built entirely of wood, where we will also observe significant cultural elements
such as the spirit house and the family cemetery. We will visit a
small museum displaying a fascinating collection of Buddha figures and amulets
found in Sukhothai, providing historical and artistic context. Next,
we will head to the workshop to learn the crafting process. Each participant will have
prepared clay to mold their own amulet using the mold depicting the posture of
Buddha corresponding to the day of the week they were born—an important detail in Thai culture
. We will also create a replica of the famous Standing Buddha image, just like
the one we visited at the archaeological ruins of Sukhothai. We will continue on to
Lampang. Lunch to recharge our energy. We will continue on to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, we will visit the Rong Suea Ten Temple, also known as the Blue Temple (
). Overnight stay.
Day 8 | Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai
Breakfast and lunch.
Departure to visit the Golden Triangle, the area where three countries meet: Myanmar, Laos, and
Thailand, divided by the Mekong River and formerly an important center for the opium trade.
Visit to the Opium Museum. Next, visit the enclave where ethnic groups reside.
We will see the Akha and Lisu tribes, the tribe with pierced ears, and the most famous, the
giraffe-necked women. We will continue with a visit to the White Temple, Wat Rong Khun. We will proceed to
Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North and the region’s most important city. Its origins
date back to the Lanna Kingdom in the 13th century. The old city is surrounded by a moat
and is walled. Arrival and visit to Doi Suthep Temple, the city’s symbol at 1,053 meters
in height and an important pilgrimage site. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 9 | Chiang Mai - Elephant Sanctuary - Chiang Mai
Breakfast and lunch.
Departure for ECO VALLEY, an alternative elephant camp. We will spend this day
getting to know these incredible animals up close, starting with a visit to the cultural museum of the
elephant. Next, we’ll help prepare their meal, which consists of herbs and
fruits, as well as bananas and sugarcane. We’ll learn how to make paper from
elephant dung. Finally, we’ll enjoy bathing with them under a small
waterfall. Lunch. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
Day 10 | Chiang Mai – Spain
Breakfast.
